Fuerteventura is so famous because of its beaches, but apart from that, there are many things to do like; visit the Natural Park of dunes of Corralejo, navigate to Lobos’ island, visit villages like Betancuria or El Cotillo and also practise outdoor and water sports.
Together with tourist and state activities, fishing is the most characteristic activity of Corralejo, being a historical fishing village. It has a Fishermen’s Association and also a fish market. Additionally, the Port of Corralejo is a port of independent management with the greatest passenger’s traffic of Canary Islands that makes possible exchanges between Fuerteventura and Lanzarote.
